As a producer, the best thing I can do is to understand my crew. So I sort of on-the-fly signed in on a neighbourhood filmmaking course provided by Rio Films, admirably taught by Andre & Julio Pijnappel and Redouan el Tarrahi, who stimulate the ghetto youth of Rotterdam and the regular citizens...

6-8 chanten, 8-18:00 werk, 18:00- 22:00 filmcursus, whaaa.......

tussendoor probeer ik productie te doen, overal tussendoor te schieten. Mijn crew doet enthousiast mee. Nu hard op zoek naar licht en geluidsmensen, one week before closing-time...

Vanavond, net als gisteravond, een filmcourse tussen rowdy boys gevolgd. Moroccan, wel gezegd. Gisteravond al half mee kennis gemaakt, en vanavond dan meer (ofschoon de helft afdroop).

Ze waren zo rowdy dat ik door drie begeleiders werd nagepleit/-gesproken om hun gedrag te verontschuldigen....
